It's been a remarkable phenomenon in recent years, featuring the talented producer Kob Paphasara Techapaibul of Paphasara Production who willappearas a model wearing the traditional Boromphiman Thai dress while walking the red carpet at the KCL Awards 2026 @ICONSIAM last night.
Holding the prestigious title of Miss ThailandWorldin 1988, Kob Paphasara looked stunningly elegant and dignified in the Boromphiman Thai dress, one of the royal Thai costumes, honoring Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother.
The Boromphiman dress is a formal royal Thai ceremonial outfit featuring a long-sleeved blouse with a collar attached to a sinh skirt, made from raised-pattern silk or gold brocade, accessorized with a traditional Thai belt. It is suitable for royal ceremonies, club or union events, or auspicious weddings. Kob Paphasara expressed immense pride to be part of this tribute, saying
"I have always loved wearing Thai fabrics. When I was invited to participate and wear the Boromphiman dress designed by P'Pla Finale, I felt honored to have the opportunity to pay homage to Her Majesty. Each royal Thai costume is incredibly beautiful, and I personally will continue to preserve and pass on Thai fabrics and our nation's traditional dress forever.""
