After Ball Chernyim posted about his relationship with his wife, Yuri Sukanda, which became widely talked about, the senior comedian, Mam Jokmok, came forward expressing sympathy for both and offered thoughtful insights on married life, while humorously revealing his own spousal issues that made everyone laugh.
Recently, Mam Jokmok spoke openly to the media about this topic, also updating on his own marital status, which he admits is just as troubled!
Asked about Ball Chernyim's post about separating from his wife?
"Everyone has their own relationship. I support both of them because I see they love each other. We don't know the deep details between them. Love is very delicate. Not just their couple, even my own marriage—I’ve been sleeping on the floor almost 10 days now. It’s tough, but I won’t separate because I love her so much."
Is there any chance we'll see you announce separation from your wife?
"No way. Last year we almost had a major fight—almost 'broke the bed.' We knew what happened (laughs). When the bed was unstable, we fixed it with reinforcements.
Honestly, I feel sympathy for both of them. Every couple has problems. But don't argue over who's right or wrong—it never ends. Everyone thinks they're right. Who's wrong? Don't argue about who's right; step back and reflect on what’s true or not. People who never apologize don’t realize their mistakes. In my life, mostly no one apologizes, but I forgive because I love them."
Did Ball call you for advice?
"He wouldn’t dare. Ball respects a lot, but it’s probably something we can’t know. Like I said, love is delicate—so delicate that we don’t know what’s really going on between them."
Did you sense something beforehand?
"No, but I want to tell both of them that it could still work out. We’ve been together this long. But it’s their matter. We don’t know what they have between them. Love is very delicate; even parents can’t interfere, let alone us."
Are you worried you won’t be able to sleep upstairs?
"I’m not going up anymore, no way. You have to come down; I won’t accept it anymore. But I still love you the same, and I will never abandon you, my dear."
