Tong Chuan Chuen Slams Long-Running Nonpayment Scandal in Celebrity Football Events

This has become a hot drama in the entertainment industry regarding the case where Nam Rapeepat live-streamed a fierce criticism of those who failed to pay fees for the Nong Lalok Cup celebrity football event in Rayong Province held on 5 Jun 2026, which involved many artists such as Noom Soram, Off Chanapol, Joey Kana, Louis Chuan Chuen, Tok Supakorn, Tong Chuan Chuen, Paiboon Sangduen, and others.

Then Noom Soram posted a cancellation of his participation due to payment issues that did not meet the agreed terms, while Tong Chuan Chuen also posted a strong statement about this. Recently, Thairath Entertainment interviewed Tong Chuan Chuen on the matter.

Asked about what happened?

“They contacted me, Tong Chuan Chuen, and Tok Supakorn to play celebrity football in Sikhoraphum District, Surin Province. I asked who would be there, and they said Noom Soram, Nam Rapeepat, Off Chanapol, and P’Diao Mak Tae. Wow, all our juniors. I thought it would be great to meet them, so I agreed and locked in the schedule and fees.”

“When it was 20 May, just 10 days before the event, I called to ask if they had booked the tickets yet. They said they would go to the company the next day to get the money for the plane tickets. I didn’t think much and just let it pass.”

“Then on 25 May, only 5 days before the trip, I wondered why the tickets weren’t sent yet. I called Nam Rapeepat and he said the mayor had already transferred 35,000 baht for the tickets. I was like, why haven’t they booked the tickets? Then I called again on 26-27 May to ask if the event was sure because I had another job in Nong Khai. They assured me it was confirmed, so I trusted them.”

“However, on 29 May, still no tickets arrived. Then it was clear. I told them we knew the mayor had transferred the ticket money, so why hadn’t they booked? They kept making excuses, saying the money was used for sports uniforms, which is unrelated. Ticket money is ticket money, uniforms are uniforms. Then others got affected too—Diao, Noom Soram still hadn’t been paid. The agreement was that payment must be made before, otherwise no show.”

“Then they asked if we could go by van or car with them. I said no, the mayor already paid for tickets, so why would we take a van? I have known this person’s history for over 10 years. He has been cheating people, delaying celebrity schedules, and not paying fees properly for over a decade.”

“But he remains unpunished because whenever cornered, he would play the pity card, saying he has young children and accepts all blame, asking for installment payments. That’s his tactic.”

“When the creditors come to demand money, they often soften, saying they borrowed 50,000 but only used 1,000–2,000, then keep making excuses and delays. This is the behavior of a con artist who cheats money like this.”

“Why did I agree to work with him knowing this? Because he has children. He once ran a business in Nakhon Nayok, where he also cheated resort owners and entrepreneurs, nearly causing legal action.”

“But my friends asked me not to take action because he has small children. Local elders in Nakhon Nayok advised that after he has a child, he should leave and work elsewhere, not in Nakhon Nayok. So he was given a chance.”

“Then he worked in Bangkok, posting about taking Noom Soram to play football in Loei Province, bringing others like Nam along. I thought maybe he had changed and would no longer have bad habits since Thai people like to give chances. But then we encountered the incident on 30 May in Surin. On 1 June, I posted about it, and then Nam live-streamed his anger.”

“Then yesterday, after Noom Soram posted, Nam live-streamed again. This connects to today’s event—the Nong Lalok Cup in Rayong, a million-baht football tournament organized by the Nong Lalok municipality. They brought in artists to play, continuing from the Surin event.”

“The host in Nong Lalok paid half the artist fees as a deposit. This event featured Noom Soram as the main draw, along with Nam Rapeepat, Off Chanapol, Ta Boyskao, Tong Chuan Chuen, Mahasompong, and Paiboon Sangduen, who were promoted to the hosts.”

“But because of the problems from Surin, Nam posted that he wouldn’t go to this event, as the person booking the artists’ schedules hadn’t paid the agreed fees yet.”

“After Noom Soram posted, rumors arose. The Nong Lalok organizer claimed they had transferred the fees, but when they called to demand payment, the person said he had already spent the money.”

“They said the company wouldn’t release the other half of the fees because the news was out, and the person kept making excuses. So they decided to exclude him from the event and replaced the artist liaison with Off Chanapol, who contacted To Tee Chernyim to rearrange the artists' schedules.”

“Today, new artists came: Nam, Off, me, Ta Boyskao, Big, Louis Chuan Chuen, and Tok Supakorn. We went to help ensure the event proceeded smoothly and to save the host’s face, simply put.”},{
