After young singer Tintin New Country came forward to clarify the timeline following scandalous news about him causing a pregnancy, including allegations of statutory rape and drug involvement, his management suspended him temporarily pending investigation. Tintin himself outlined a timeline to explain his side of the story.
Recently, Thairath Entertainment contacted Farida or Farida Elizabeth Tee, a singer and actress who again exposed Tintin. She said she feels some parts are untrue but confirmed that what she has said is true.
Regarding Tintin’s claim that the woman disappeared abroad and then returned to reveal the pregnancy, Farida admitted it was true because she was pregnant but unaware at the time. She firmly confirmed that the child is definitely the singer’s.
How did you feel after reading Tintin’s explanation?
"I feel some parts are untrue."
Tintin raised three points of dispute. What is your view, Farida?
"The pregnancy is definitely his. I wasn’t with anyone else. Honestly, I wasn’t involved with anyone else at that time."
He said you disappeared to sing in Taiwan, then came back and told him you were pregnant?
"Yes, at that time I was already pregnant but didn’t know it."
He insists he never committed statutory rape or had relations with a minor?
"I do have a victim who is still in high school. She told me the story. This is true."
He said he is ready to find a way to take responsibility. Have you ever discussed this?
"But he blocked me on Instagram, so we haven’t talked."
If he contacted you to find a solution, would you be willing to talk?
"Yes, I’m ready to talk, especially about the child."
He said if DNA tests confirm he is the father, he is ready to take responsibility. What do you say?
"Do the DNA test. I am confident because I have no one else; I wasn’t promiscuous like him."
And if the test shows he is the father and he accepts responsibility, are you okay with that?
"Yes, I am happy and okay with that."
