After the young leading man with a striking face Tre Porapat Srikhajorndecha held his first solo fan meeting a few days ago, it sparked a widespread controversy that ultimately led him to close his Twitter (X) account. Thairath Entertainment summarizes the unfolding drama.
- Tre Porapat's solo fan meeting, "THE MAKING OF TRE PORAPAT 1st FAN MEETING," took place on 7 June 2026 at the Phenix Grand Ballroom, Phenix Shopping Center, Pratunam. Ticket prices ranged from 999 to 3,999 baht.
- This event marked Tre's first solo fan meeting in his acting career, drawing thousands of fans.
- The controversy began during the Hi-Touch / Hi-Bye segment after the event, when some fans posted on X expressing disappointment, feeling Tre did not make eye contact or interact with some fans lined up to greet him. However, many fans came forward defending the actor.
- Those upset argued that fans pay for the experience, hoping for positive and equal treatment. Many value the Hi-Touch / Hi-Bye moment greatly. While the actor gets tired, so do the fans. The actor earns money, but fans spend money to attend.
- Supporters pointed out that the fan meeting schedule was very tight, including benefits like 1:1 and 1:9 photo sessions, the fan meeting itself, and continuous fan benefits, leaving little rest time. Thus, it was understandable if the actor occasionally missed eye contact or focus on some fans due to fatigue.
- The complaining fans countered that buying a fan meeting ticket is purchasing an experience and memories. The Hi-Touch / Hi-Bye is the only moment for close, one-on-one interaction. Therefore, the actor's tiredness should not diminish fans’ disappointment after paying for tickets. They insisted criticism is valid and doesn't mean they will stop following or insult the actor.
- Meanwhile, many fans criticized the organizers and staff for poor time management, overly tight schedules for fan benefits, and inadequate event management, which exhausted both the actor and attendees.
- Following the controversy, fans noticed that Tre Porapat’s Twitter (X) account @treporapat deleted all posts and tweets on 8 June 2026, raising questions about the situation.
- Then, on 9 June 2026, the @treporapat Twitter (X) account was deleted entirely, escalating online drama and increasing concerns for Tre’s mental well-being amid the backlash.
- However, neither Tre Porapat nor his agency has issued a clear statement regarding the matter. Online discussions and criticisms continue, and the resolution remains to be seen.
