Fully understanding the feelings of parents, for mother Jui Warattaya Nilkuha, who previously had her beloved son, Nong Peerje, contract the RSV virus and required hospital admission for treatment. When it came to her youngest daughter, Nong Je Pearl, the mother chose not to take any chances and decided to have her receive RSV immunoglobulin treatment while still young. Even though the child is healthy and doesn't often get sick, boosting immunity is advisable, especially as the rainy season begins.
Additionally, Mother Jui updated about her children's development, saying they are at a delightful, lively age with progress matching their growth. The older boy is the “vocal type” while the younger daughter is the “adventurous type,” making them beloved by relatives and fans alike, much to their parents' joy.
Jui Warattaya said, “The kids are developing appropriately for their ages. The older one enjoys activities involving singing and dancing, especially rhythm-based ones. Since we, the parents, are from the '90s, he listens to music from that era and likes sports like football and basketball. The youngest daughter is more daring; if her brother plays something, she joins in. She's tough, resilient, and very brave. We learned that we may have been overly protective with the first child, so with this one, we allow more freedom to let her gain experience and learn on her own.”
Regarding their entertainment careers, both children still enjoy working on camera with their parents. When working, the parents know their children’s limits. As they grow older and take on more responsibilities, they will need to develop professional skills in their specific fields. In fact, Jui doesn't let her children spend much time on social media because when she is with them, she wants to fully engage and closely supervise them.
Health-wise, the eldest child had contracted RSV twice before. He was hospitalized for two days during the worst illness, suffering fever, runny nose, and severe coughing. Fortunately, the virus did not reach his lungs. However, a friend’s child was hospitalized for 7-8 days with a fever reaching 40 degrees Celsius and was very weak. Jui said she felt so sorry for her child that she wished she could fall ill instead, as it was very distressing to see him suffer.
When it came to her youngest, Jui was much better prepared. After researching and consulting doctors, she decided to have her receive RSV immunoglobulin last year when she was about six months old. Now, she is very healthy. She might catch colds from her older brother occasionally, but her sensitivity regarding the airways and lungs is much less.
Also, when Jui and her husband Putt go out and encounter crowds, they wash their hands and change clothes immediately upon returning home. When their son returns from school and might have been exposed to infections from friends, they have him wash and change before playing with his sister. Since young children cannot express where they feel unwell, especially during the rainy season when RSV tends to spread, Jui recommends consulting doctors early to plan protective measures for the children.”
