Exclusive with Yuika: Truly Captivated! Gentle Smile and Confession Thai Fans Love Is No Lie

From rumors and hearsay to a tangible impression, Yuika, the warm-hearted sweet-voiced artist, shares an exclusive interview with Thairath Entertainment after flying in to hold her major concert "Yuika 2nd Asia Tour in Bangkok."

Yuika's appeal lies not only in her singing and songwriting talents but also in her remarkable ability to convey emotion through her music to her fans.

Today, we have the chance to speak with Yuika and wasted no time greeting the artist, warmly welcoming her to Thailand. Yuika greeted us with great friendliness and charm. She arrived with a bright energy that made the interview atmosphere very relaxed. Despite just finishing her concert, she still wore a radiant smile that impressed the entire team.

We began our first question by congratulating Yuika on her new song, the summer-themed single "Invisible Youth," and asked her to share the inspiration behind writing this song for her fans. Yuika responded with a smile:

"This song has a summer theme, as I mentioned. The initial idea was to have everyone enjoy the concert together while waving towels around. I want many people to listen to this song and also to realize that Yuika doesn't only have love songs; I have songs in this style as well. Please don't forget to listen."

Next, we asked Yuika that Thai fans often describe her as a warm-hearted artist. How does she feel hearing this? And how does she heal or recharge herself on tiring days? The artist shared her thoughts:

"First of all, I'm very happy to be called a warm-hearted artist. When I write songs, I want to express my feelings and what I want to tell my fans through music. When I listen to my songs or when fans listen to them, I want to create music that gives everyone strength and encouragement to keep living. As for how I heal, I don't really have a set method. Usually, if I face problems, like writer's block or can't think of ideas, I escape to do other things—make drinks, cook food, things like that. I really want everyone to have hobbies to help escape from stress."

We then asked Yuika, out of all the songs she has written and sung, if she had to choose one favorite or most meaningful song, which would it be and why? This question made Yuika take some time to decide.

"Actually, I feel all my songs are important and good. Some I even want to try rewriting. But there's one song I feel is perfect; every piece fits together like a puzzle. That song is called 'Unmei no Hito.' I want to recommend everyone to listen to it."

Regarding the popularity of Yuika's songs in Thailand due to her sweet and warm voice, we asked how she felt about meeting Thai fans up close during the 'Yuika 2nd Asia Tour in Bangkok 2026' concert. Her answer brought smiles to both her and the listeners:

"Before coming, I was really looking forward to visiting Thailand. When I arrived, I felt very excited. At first, I wondered if there really were Thai people waiting to listen to my music. But when I performed, I saw all the fans enjoying and having fun with my concert. I felt that Thai fans are warm, and in return, I felt I should give even more energy and work harder. Thank you so much for coming to the concert and meeting me."

This question was a must-ask for anyone visiting Thailand: What Thai dishes has Yuika tried, and which left a lasting impression? Yuika answered with a charming and bright smile:

"Tom yum goong. I had heard about it many times but never tried it before. This time in Thailand, I got to taste it and found it very delicious—I want to eat it again. Also, stir-fried morning glory. I was just talking with the team about how simple it is to make, using things like oyster sauce. It's so tasty—I want to eat it again."

As our conversation neared its end, we asked Yuika if she had any message for her Thai fans who have supported her all along. The artist responded sincerely from her heart:

"This is my first time in Thailand, and seeing with my own eyes that Thai fans are really waiting to listen to my music—it is true, not a lie. I'm very happy to meet everyone. I want to come again. Please keep listening to Yuika's songs a lot."

This brief conversation today deepened our understanding of why Thai fans have given so much love to the woman named Yuika. Her true self is gentle, powerful, and full of sincerity—just like the songs she writes.

It is certain that the spicy tom yum goong and her favorite stir-fried morning glory will welcome her return soon, fueled by the love Thai fans have for Yuika.

While waiting for that day, let's keep our promise to her: grab a towel to wave, play "Invisible Youth" loudly at home, or listen repeatedly to "Unmei no Hito" for encouragement in life and to send Yuika the message that "Thai fans' love for you is real and will never change."

Until we meet again... Yuika, the artist who heals the hearts of her fans.
