Recently Noom Sornram brought his daughter Veeji to join the program"Tee Tai Krua"on Channel 3, sharing stories about his daughter. At times, Noom Sornram described his parenting style as a samurai father of a young child and revealed his answer when asked if he would marry Kung Ploy Kanittharin again.
The host asked, "Veeji, doesn’t Daddy have any girlfriends?"
Veeji replied, "No, I forbid Daddy, and I’m protective."
The host said, "Living a man’s lifestyle but having to raise a daughter, is it hard to manage alone?"
Noom Sornram answered, "I have to say first that it’s not just about having a daughter. Since having her, I’ve become more cautious about everything. Before doing anything, I think about what would happen if she gets sick or has a fever. It makes me reduce the scope of what I used to do. I dare to do less and have adjusted my behavior to stay at home more. Sometimes I play football with friends but come back home to socialize."
The host said, "You take great care of your daughter and seem quite strict in many ways."
Noom Sornram replied, "I just want her to have good manners—like greeting respectfully and speaking politely."
The crew asked, "Veeji doesn’t want you to have a girlfriend, but do you want one?"
Noom Sornram said, "I don’t want a girlfriend. Since it’s just Veeji and me, I decided I probably won’t succeed in love anymore. I prefer having only Veeji to avoid confusion. As I get older, I’m more set in my ways. Nowadays, I sleep at the same temperature as her. Before, I needed noise and TV to sleep, but now I’ve adjusted to her rhythm—I can watch football with the lights on but the volume must be low because Veeji sleeps with me. The air conditioning is set to 17 degrees for both of us. When I use the bathroom, I lift the toilet seat so she won’t scold me when she grows up. The hardest person will be whoever tries to date Veeji in the future because they will inherit my habits. Will they be able to sleep at 17 degrees like me if they marry her?"
The host asked, "If you could go back and choose to marry Kung Ploy Kanittharin (Tik Big Brother), would you still do it?"
Noom Sornram answered, "Yes, because I got Veeji. Now I have Veeji."
The host asked, "After having a child, has your tenderness made you more adaptable?"
Noom Sornram replied, "It’s more about age, not the child. If something is wrong, I remain the same."
