This has become quite a hot topic as a popular page Toot's Review posted a message about the Channel 3 program "Hon Krasae," hosted by Noom Kanchai Kumpanaploy. The post came after the program interviewed Farida Elizabeth T. and Tintin New Country, with content as follows:
"I want to see 'Hon Krasae' go further, becoming intellectual nourishment for the public.
I've seen the #Farida #Tintin story on #HonKrasae get airtime three times.
At a time when political news is intense, it makes me feel regretful that a show which could be a voice for the people beyond "celebrity under-the-bed issues" is giving this story such high priority.
From my perspective, I believe
1) The program should aim for the highest benefit: "What do viewers gain from the news?" to drive society forward, enlighten citizens, and lead them to wisdom.
2) I think public interest depends on the media acting as an agenda setter, deciding daily which topics to highlight so they resonate deeply with the audience.
3) I don't feel "Farida" needed to be featured three times; it should have ended after the first, with a two-party discussion focusing only on DNA testing and nothing more. No need to dig into the past since everyone has one. Even host Noom Kanchai has a past. Everyone has their own story lines. It felt more like a "news drama for entertainment" than substantive content for viewers.
4) I haven't written about this before because I think society always looks for someone to blame. It would be better if disputes between two people are resolved through a mediator rather than making one person the "villain." Relationships are built by both parties together; no one creates a child alone. Responsibility belongs to both without trying to isolate blame on one person.
5) What I want to see is political news given more attention—the public’s losses, state budget spending, taxpayers’ money, and forests being taken from national parks. I hope 'Hon Krasae' can go further. That would be truly good. Please consider this.
"I think the public doesn’t really want to know about Farida that frequently. Honestly, I believe the public also wants to consume news that adds value to them.
Try giving more airtime to issues beyond marital disputes that truly benefit a wider audience."

After the post, many netizens commented with various critiques, while Noom Kanchai responded, “'Hon Krasae' is designed this way. Trust me, don’t watch it or focus on what others want you to focus on—it’s more peaceful that way.
It’s not that I can’t take criticism, but life isn’t always green light; there must be yellow and red lights too. By the way, I’ve done good things too, but you didn’t mention those.
'Hon Krasae' doesn’t need to go further; I’m satisfied as it is. Thanks for your concern. Also, if you want intellectually enriching content, I recommend watching 'Good People of Ban Dan'.
P.S. Many female lawyers who appear in court have had a lot of Botox. I’ve never seen judges misread facial expressions. Haha ”
