Kanchai Opens Up About Hon Krasae Controversy: A Message to Popular Page to Choose Wisely and Not Replace L with S Reflect on Yourself

This has become quite a hot topic when the page TootsReview posted comments about the "Hon Krasae" program on Channel 3, hosted by Kanchai Kamnerdploy, highlighting the issue that Fareeda has appeared on the show three times, yet the program, which should represent the voice of the people on broader issues than celebrity scandals, places great emphasis on this topic.

They suggested that the public likely does not want to hear about Fareeda so frequently and believes people want news that truly benefits them. They recommended increasing airtime for issues beyond celebrity marriages to create genuinely widespread benefits.

Then Kanchai Kamnerdploy responded, “The show 'Hon Krasae' is designed this way. Trust me, just don’t watch it or focus on what you want to pay attention to—it’s more comfortable that way.

It’s not that I can’t accept criticism, but life isn’t always green lights; there must be yellow and red lights too... Oh, and I have done good things too, but I haven’t seen you mention those.

'Hon Krasae' doesn’t need to go further; I’m satisfied staying right here. Thanks for your concern. Also, if you want an educational program, I recommend watching 'Khon Dee Sri Ban Dan.'”

He added, “P.S. Many female lawyers who appear in court get Botox injections; I’ve never seen judges fail to read their expressions. Haha ”

Recently, Kanchai Kamnerdploy opened up about this issue on the program “Midday News” on Channel 3, co-anchored with Muay Arisara Kamthornjaroen. Kanchai said, “Actually, I didn’t intend to comment or get involved, but after reading some posts, I felt I should clarify or respond.

First, I believe that viewers of 'Hon Krasae'—and this message goes to Khun Boy from TootsReview—I have talked to him before and told him this, but now I don’t want to talk anymore; I’ll speak through this channel. Since he has my number, I don’t see why he hasn’t contacted me directly. Writing things like this, I understand he wants to be a creator, so be it.

But at the same time, I have to say that 'Hon Krasae,' as I’ve said, was designed this way from the start. First, the show’s name 'Hon Krasae' is not a program like 'Khon Dee Sri Ban Dan' or similar. So, we tell the stories of ordinary people.

Second, I’ve said many times that I’m not skilled in politics and don’t really care much for it. Can I do it? Yes, but very rarely. I just don’t like political topics, so I want you to understand that.

So, saying I have to do political stories makes me uncomfortable. I always say if it’s political topics, let P’Yut (Sorayuth Suthassanachinda) handle it, as he’s skilled. Or let P’Kitti (Kitti Singhapad) do it. I’m not skilled. People can’t replace each other. P’Yut might not be good at this kind of work.

Someone might ask why Sorayuth doesn’t do stories about ordinary people or under-the-bed issues. He would say he’s skilled in politics. That’s his specialty. This is mine. Please understand. Honestly, I’m not angry; I accept criticism. But I’m only displeased that the team showed me something that Khun Boy shouldn’t have said.”

The team showed a message from TootsReview’s page saying, “‘Khun Fareeda’ holds the record for the most appearances on 'Hon Krasae' with three episodes but has no content, just rambling. ‘People who appear on Hon Krasae are the good people of society.’”

Kanchai continued, “I don’t like the last sentence, ‘People who appear on Hon Krasae are the good people of society.’ What’s the point of this? What does it mean? It’s sarcastic, mocking—not me, but the guests on the show. It’s not just Fareeda. I see it as mocking everyone who appears on 'Hon Krasae.'”

“Because you use the phrase ‘People who appear on Hon Krasae are the good people of society,’ I can’t accept it. It insults guests who come on the show without knowing much and just participate. When I read it, someone sensible like P’Muay would think what?”

Muay Arisara said, “Looking at the whole context, I think like P’Kanchai that it’s a jab, like saying they might not be good people.” Kanchai added, “Simply put, I prepared something to show you, Khun Boy from TootsReview. (He picks up a remote) If you don’t like it, just change the channel; it will switch, and you won’t see 'Hon Krasae.'”

“Or if you scroll on Facebook, just swipe away and play some music, listen to Bruno Mars—it’s more comfortable. There are many channels to choose from. Don’t worry about telling me 'Hon Krasae' should go further. I’m fine staying here. If you want something educational, you might have to watch other programs, not this one. I accept criticism but don’t insult my guests. I don’t like that. Please distinguish.”

“And when you post about Khun Yaya Ying (Ying Ratha Phongam),” I, as her senior, know and love her. I think she gives her best in dramas or series. Women get Botox too. P’Muay, don’t you get Botox?” Muay replied, “Yes, I do.”

Kanchai asked, “Can you read facial expressions from news?" Muay nodded, “Well... (nods).” Kanchai continued, “So what? Are you saying that reading facial expressions feels awkward? Let me tell you, many lawyers I know get Botox. When they’re in court, judges understand the meaning. Saying that to act well you must not get Botox to express better is incorrect in my view.”

“I want to leave two more points for Khun Boy. Actually, I’ve said that 'Hon Krasae,' which you understand as a celebrity scandal or marital affairs program, is not really called that. In everyday language, that’s what you say, but formally, it’s called a 'program reflecting social issues.' But the program you want me to do is a 'program reflecting intellectual issues,' which is different. Look carefully, Khun Boy.

If it’s a program to enlighten intellectuals about politics, it wouldn’t be like this. It’s designed to reflect social problems. So please understand this. Most importantly, I apologize, but you have the choice to watch. The word 'choose' starts with the vowel 'ae' (Loring) and consonant 'l' (Loring). Choose to watch. Don’t change 'L' (Loring) to 'S' (Seua). I feel it’s unfair to others. Reflect on yourself too.”
