The ongoing epic legal battle between the famous actress and model continues to intensify. Most recently, "Lookmee Rasamee Thongsiripaisri" along with "Lawyer Kung" expressed their joy after the court ruled in their favor, sentencing "Poo Mantana Himathongkham" to 2 years imprisonment without suspension for filing a false police report. After leaving the court, both gave interviewsto the media sayingLookmee said, "Today is the false report case. Today, I won, and Poo was sentenced to 2 years in prison without suspension, which is the maximum penalty. I'm very happy, very much so."
What caused this case to arise?
Lawyer Kung said, "It started when Poo filed a complaint claiming Lookmee was illegally lending money with interest rates exceeding legal limits, around 40-50% per year, even thousands of percent, which is extremely high. But she knew Lookmee was not a moneylender; she is a model, runway instructor, and actress."
Previously, there was a legal fight over fraud and a 2 million baht loan case. The loan contract came from Poo inviting Lookmee to invest, promising high returns. Before transferring money, profits were deducted in advance by 10-15% as instructed. This is evidenced in LINE chats between Lookmee and Poo discussing dividends and whether Lookmee would accept them, indicating profit sharing.
In this ongoing fight, Poo alleged Lookmee illegally lent money. The 2 million baht loan included 1.4 million principal and over 500,000 baht claimed as illegal interest. We filed a civil case, and the court ruled there was no illegal interest in the 2 million baht. We already won this case.
Regarding the fraud claim that Poo said Lookmee lured her into investing in a luxury bag brand, alleging illegal loan lending, she failed to provide evidence. We have LINE chat proof showing the investment invitation and dividends. Poo still claims illegal lending but has no counter-evidence. The court sentenced her to 2 years already.
After the civil court ruled in our favor, Poo knowingly filed a detailed police complaint at Thonglor Police Station accusing Lookmee of illegal money lending and demanded the maximum prison sentence.
After Poo filed the criminal complaint, knowing it was false, we sued for defamation against the third party, the investigating officer. During preliminary hearings, the court accepted all charges since the evidence and LINE chats showed no loan lending, only investment. The court accepted all charges.
During the trial, Poo still claimed Lookmee lent money illegally, including to 2-3 others, but without evidence. The documents used by police showed her intent to punish Lookmee fully. The court noted the LINE chats proved no loan lending occurred. The court saw that Poo knew from the start there was no loan lending and concluded she maliciously accused Lookmee to cause criminal penalties, with a maximum sentence of 5 years. Additionally, the court found defamation against a third party and imposed the maximum penalty but showed leniency by sentencing 2 years for the false report and 1 year for defamation. The court combined the sentences to 2 years imprisonment, to be served consecutively with 2 other cases totaling 4 years, including fraud cases involving "Aom" and Lookmee.
What's the total number of cases Poo is involved in?Lawyer Kung said, "The court has sentenced her in about 5 cases totaling 10 years. The first fraud case with Aom resulted in 2 years imprisonment. The Lookmee case was sentenced immediately without suspension, but she was granted bail pending appeal. Another fraud case at Phra Nakhon Tai District Court was 2 years without suspension, to be served consecutively. There is also a defamation case at Bangkok South Criminal Court with 2 years probation and a 60,000 baht fine. That case is suspended for 2 years.The case filed by Lawyer Kung as plaintiff resulted in 2 years imprisonment and an 80,000 baht fine, publicly reported, though no media ads have appeared yet. The fine payment deadline has been extended.

Lookmee said, "Before the hearing, Poo was cheerful and smiling the whole time, patiently listening to the proceedings. After the verdict, she was still smiling and fighting."

Lookmee said, "There are 5 cases in court; I've won 4, including today. This case is by Lawyer Pramarn Rungwattanawanich. Including civil cases, I have 5. If sentenced to 10 years, we don't count civil cases because they have no jail time. Between me and Poo Mantana, there are 5 cases: one civil which I won, two defamation cases I won, one fraud case I won, and today the false report case I won. Poo has many lawyers; today's case is by Lawyer Pramarn."
How do you feel?
Lookmee said, "Another case to be decided is a defamation case at Nonthaburi Court. Witness testimony was heard on 27 and 28 August. After that, the verdict should come in a month or two, likely within this year. Since I'm the plaintiff, I hope for another 2 years imprisonment, totaling 12 years. I hope so, that's my wish."Recently, Poo posted that she just received a summons from Lookmee?Lookmee said, "I have 5 cases in court and 2 more at the police level because Poo insulted me with my full name and pictures with very defamatory words. I responded strongly. One of these cases led police to issue a summons, which Poo has postponed. The second summons is set for 24 June; if she doesn't appear, a warrant will be issued."
Now that Poo has lost 5 cases, how will this affect her life?
Lawyer Kung said, "Before causing trouble and legal cases, one must have money. Remember, even if the court orders payment, if the defendant has no money, fines can be extended for about a month, but bail money is required to avoid losing freedom. So, I can't imagine what she's thinking coming to court empty-handed. I doubt she can win since it's risky."
"I still wonder why she fights so hard and continues despite the first case being so severe. Maybe she now has good advisors and her life might improve."
