The young actress Nusba Punnakanta is heartbroken over the sudden passing of La Festa, her favorite FEI sport horse who had been by her side for more than 10 years. La Festa was her most beloved horse and the only FEI-level sport horse she has ever owned.
On her Instagram @nusbapunnakanta, Nusba posted a photo with her beloved horse and wrote a heartfelt message in English, which can be translated as, “Rest in peace, La Festa (Lord Amerigo), son of Lord Sinclaire.
In memory of the horse I loved most, the only FEI-level sport horse I have ever had .
Thank you for the past 10 years as both my friend and the best teacher on my equestrian journey. The sudden departure in a split second is so hard to accept .
Throughout those wonderful 10 years, you were my partner, teacher, and friend.
You have the gentlest spirit I have ever known—kind, patient, and always forgiving of my mistakes on the days we learned and trained together. No matter how imperfect I was, you never lost faith in me.
Thank you for every lesson you taught, every journey we shared, and every moment of friendship. Losing you leaves an emptiness words cannot explain, but I am grateful for every day we spent together.
From now on, run free, my dear friend. You will be loved, remembered, and forever in my heart.
