Moddam Explains Hot Issue: Ning and Tanya Await Response, Fears Peck Might React Strongly (Video)

Regarding the hot issue of Tanya Thanyares commenting to ask Ning Patama Miss Grand Thailand 2026 about her relationship with Peck Sanchai Engtrakul to which Ning replied that he is a respected elder brother, sparking a current heated discussion.

Meanwhile, Nawat Israkaisil the big boss of the Miss Grand pageant responded to the issue, saying he is "Saving Ning Patama" before going live to address why criticism targets women. He urged waiting to hear all sides before judging right or wrong. If Ning is wrong, she deserves criticism, but don’t rush to conclude who is at fault. He only raised questions and defended those unfairly implicated.

Recently, the "Kao Sai Kai" program on Thairath TV Channel 32, hosted by three presenters, Moddam Kachapa, Noom Kanchai, and Rotmay Kanungnit, reported on the story. While reading the news, Noom Kanchai mentioned the nickname "Tanya Record." Moddam said it’s been a long time, then added, "I’m even more than a record. You know my generation, Tanya climbed fences and I was there at that time. After Tanya was done, she told me, ‘Moddam, I’m off now.’ Climbing fences—I spent a lot of time with Tanya."

Moddam further explained, "So the thing is, I’ve been trying to ask what happened but haven’t talked to her yet." Noom immediately teased, "Of course, Moddam will ask, I tell you." Moddam replied, "Noom, I’m not you (looking at Noom), but I know since the announcement when Mrs. Tanya declared reducing the relationship level back then, but they remain friends. Maybe something started then."

Noom asked what might have happened back then, and Moddam said, "Since the relationship was downgraded, maybe someone else got involved at that time," then jokingly scolded Noom, "Noom, don’t fake it." Rotmay teased they were poking each other a lot, and Noom said, "I want the camera to see it. The camera just cut here (turning to Moddam), what are you poking at?"

Moddam snapped, "Oh Noom, you ghost! You pretend not to know everything." Noom shot back, "I don’t know anything, don’t poke me." Moddam said she would read the news script and warned anyone who goes off script first will be the "dog." Noom continued teasing about Moddam poking, and Moddam kept responding quickly.

Then Moddam read the news as scripted, but Noom said, "No, earlier you didn’t say it like that. You said, ‘Eh, maybe that time when they downgraded the relationship, what was that about? Tell us, I’m listening.’" Moddam replied, "I’ve heard about it."

Noom asked, "And then?" Moddam said, "Noom, you’re so nosy." Rotmay said to Moddam, "You’re connecting dots to see if Tanya’s written points are right." Moddam agreed and added, "I don’t know anything, how could I know other people’s business?"

Rotmay said Tanya wrote briefly but powerfully, and many tried to find out more. Those interested are searching. Moddam said, "Maybe it didn’t just happen recently; it could have been going on for a long time." Noom asked why, what it was, and Moddam and Noom joked back and forth.

Moddam said, "Tanya will come to see me next week. I don’t know if a third party got involved when the relationship was downgraded. Let’s wait for her to answer. Peck will appear at an event with Sek Loso this Thursday. Better ask Peck. If I say too much, Peck might slap me again."

Then Moddam continued reporting on Nawat’s comments about Ning Patama, mentioned a photo of a man and woman at Chiang Mai airport that caused the controversy, and said, "Just Chiang Mai?" Rotmay asked if it was farther than that. Moddam quickly replied, "Just Chiang Mai," then mentioned Peck’s event with Sek Loso on 25 June and that Peck and Tanya will do a live broadcast on Thairath TV Channel 32 on 15 July.

Rotmay said, "Viewers suggested you phone in, Moddam." Moddam immediately said, "No way, Peck will answer this Thursday. Just be patient. Otherwise, Peck will hit me again. Peck hits, you know. Peck invades homes and hits, not like others. We’ve known him since childhood. It’s not worth it."
