
Today, the Minburi Criminal Court issued a verdict in the case involving the renowned veteran singer. "Tik Shiro" in a drunk driving case that caused a crash resulting in two fatalities.
Recalling the night of the incident, alcohol levels were extremely high.
The incident occurred on 10 Oct 2024 at approximately 4 a.m. when "Tik Shiro" drove a luxury van and collided with a motorcycle at the Theparak Road overpass, causing Nong Meji to die at the scene and Nong Junior to fall 10 meters from the bridge, suffering severe injuries and later dying.
Today, "Tik Shiro" arrived with his wife and lawyer, while the victims' families also attended the verdict hearing. Although the singer had paid initial compensation of 3.5 million baht, the civil damages remain unresolved. The court considered the act of driving under the influence resulting in two deaths to be a serious offense. For the crime of drunk driving causing death, the defendant was sentenced to 4 years in prison; since he confessed, the sentence was halved to 2 years without suspension, and his driving license was revoked.
Latest reports indicate the lawyer is preparing to request bail for "Tik Shiro" to continue legal proceedings.
