A post has become widely discussed online when "The Mean," a former member of the OHANA gang, , or The Mean Pongsathorn Laochanthuek, posted an update about his current life after facing a major scandal that caused him to disappear from social media. He admitted he currently has no work, has sold off all his assets to pay court fines, and is asking for opportunities from seniors and customers to continue making a living.
“I currently have no work on social media. My clothing brand can't sell, and I can't livestream sales anymore because my selling account was permanently closed. I sold all my Harley motorcycles and valuables early after the incident. The money has been paid to the court.
Since the incident, I’ve tried to work honestly in every way—selling food through apps, making lunch boxes, selling grilled chicken, papaya salad, and taking odd jobs. I haven’t been idle. The posts and clips I share on social media are a source of income, not just wasting time.”
“I fully understand that my past mistakes affected many people, and I accept the consequences. I haven’t shared much about my life before because I feared being attacked from different sides.
But if any customers are willing to give me a chance—whether for review work, content creation, social media tasks, or other jobs not involving social media—I’m ready to do my best in any job.”
“You can contact me via inbox on any platform. Thank you.”
Following the post, many followers commented, offering encouragement to help him move forward, suggesting job ideas, saying mistakes can be corrected, while some remain disappointed by The Mean’s past actions and cannot forgive him.
