Getting ready to leave single life behind as a newlywed, Karisa Springett, recently shared a sweet clip of her non-celebrity boyfriend surprising her by kneeling to propose on a mountain peak. She has now opened up about her feelings, admitting she never imagined this day. She also fondly teased herself for her plain makeup, bare face, no eyebrows, and mismatched clothes, but was deeply touched by his dedication. She confidently declared, "This look is definitely one to show off."
She opened up about the special moment and expressed gratitude to everyone and Thairath for their congratulations.
"I’m very happy that so many people have come to celebrate with us. Love is a matter between two people, but sharing it with everyone and receiving such warm wishes makes me feel truly loved and important to many," she said.
When asked about the golden moment of the surprise, Karisa revealed she felt both elated and confused because her look that day was completely natural and fresh.
"We had just hiked up the mountain, and I was wearing mismatched clothes with no makeup or styled hair, not even eyebrows (laughs). Anyone who knows my boyfriend knows he’s pretty laid-back, so for him to kneel down and create such a moment really impressed me with his dedication and sincerity. I truly thank him for loving me," she shared.
The bride-to-be joked that she never dreamed the words 'Will you marry me?' would happen to her, but in this relationship, she can be 120% herself.
"If he’s going to love me, he just loves me. Look at the songs I’ve released—he started courting me from the first song. Then after the second song, he proposed. Who would have thought? What about the third song? Should we have a baby?" When a reporter teased whether she was showing off her boyfriend, Karisa quickly responded, "Absolutely! Love is a beautiful thing and should be shown off!"
Regarding pregnancy rumors, Karisa clarified firmly that there is no pregnancy. She confirmed that if there is any baby news, she will not hide it, saying, "If I hide it, it will be obvious, so I will definitely reveal it."
