Damai International, the overseas arm of Damai Entertainment under Alibaba Group, has launched ORCA (Original Creative Artists), a new label focused on artist development and content production. Alongside this, ORCA and entertainment label All My Anecdotes have jointly initiated the All My Anecdotes Global Audition. This marks a major step for Damai International in expanding into artist development and the global entertainment market, serving as a key channel to discover and nurture artists for future ORCA projects.
Walter Zheng, President of Damai International, said the project represents a significant milestone in the company's global artist development strategy. It aims to discover and nurture talented individuals worldwide by leveraging Alibaba's ecosystem and ORCA's expertise to create a platform that supports artists' growth into the international entertainment market.
On 3 July 2026, ORCA released a brand trailer video featuring Audrey Lane, who previously collaborated with artist MEOVV on popular dance content alongside Megan from the group KATSEYE. She also appeared as a guest with renowned Chinese artist Liu Yuxin on the show Sisters Who Make Waves 2026. Recently, Audrey worked with singer-songwriter DANY to present a performance blending music and dance under the concept that “every shared moment can become a precious memory for the future.”
Daryl Wang, Senior Vice President of Music Business at Damai International, stated that ORCA emphasizes creativity and crossing boundaries. Participants will have opportunities to learn from and collaborate with industry creators to grow within a global artist community.
The audition program invites aspiring artists and actors worldwide without restrictions on gender, age, or nationality. Applicants will be selected based on talent, potential, and suitability. Those chosen will join ORCA alongside artists like Audrey and DANY and receive training in acting, music production, and stage performance through individualized development plans. ORCA aims to debut an international music group from this project.
