Nose Udom Taephanich nicknamed “Ood” but known as “Nose” was born on 1 Sep 1968 in Khlong Phlu Subdistrict, Ban Bueng District, Chonburi Province. He is the son of Thongsuk Areelon and Somjit Taephanich and has two siblings, with Nose being the middle child.
For his education, Nose completed primary school at Wat Sala Loi School, Municipal 2 (now Municipal 2 (Wiphat Suksa) School) in Surin Province, lower secondary at Surawittayakarn School in Surin Province, and obtained a vocational certificate from Chonburi Vocational College. He then ran away from home to live with relatives who owned a fruit shop. Nose studied art at Pohchang Academy of Arts but had to leave after two years due to financial difficulties.
Nose Udom's first job was as a cartoonist for Chaiyaphruek Cartoon magazine of Thai Wattanapanich, using the pen name ‘Note Namun’ (Note with a blank face), earning 150 baht per two-panel cartoon. He later applied to be an art staff member at Paiyalai magazine, designing covers and illustrations. He also acted in his first play, "The Love of Malai in ICU," playing an old man in a hospital.
Subsequently, Nose wrote his first story, "Once in a Lifetime with a Watermelon Smoothie," for Paiyalai magazine. After publication, he took charge of various columns under the pen name "Note Namun, the Fruit Seller's Nephew" alongside his art staff role. He wrote the column ‘Saraphee Mee Dee Hai’ with quirky games until Paiyalai magazine eventually closed.
In the entertainment industry, Nose started as a supporting actor on the show "Wik 07" by JSL. He later appeared as the mysterious character in VTRs with Supakorn Udomchai, aka "Mee Pluem," called "The Fat-Thin Mystery" on the show "Ching Roi Ching Lan" on Channel 7 around 1990, and participated in the game show "Jut Duad."
Impressed by his style, JSL executives invited him to join the comedy show "Yutkan Khab Hueak" in 1991, which was one of the most popular shows on Channel 5 at the time. This marked Nose Udom's full debut under the stage name “Senator Note.” He also performed in the stage play "Sam An Ha" alongside Ple Nakorn.
Afterward, Nose separated from "Yutkan Khab Hueak" to start his stand-up career. His first solo show was held from 23–25 August 1995 at the Muang Thai Insurance Auditorium in the Muang Thai-Phatra Complex. The show was highly successful and became his signature. Due to fan popularity, Nose has continued performing stand-up shows to this day.
Additionally, Nose Udom has acted in many films such as "Kho Chue Suthee Sam See Chat" (1989), "Toh Laew Tong To" (1992), "Klong" (1998), "Kot Rak Eng Loei" (2006), "Mail Nak Rork Muay Yod Lhor" (2007), "E Tim Tai Nae" (2008), "Aep Thai Diao 7" (2008), "Fun Kot Kot" (2009), and "2,215 Cheua Ba Kla Kao" (2018).
In 2019, Nose Udom became an artist in the special project band DTK BOY BAND alongside Kong Huayrai and Singto Numchok. They have released songs including "Long Rak" (2019), "Long Ruay" (2019), "Rong Cham" (2020), "Kuen Goo Sa (Long Tuang)" (2021), "Long Jo" (2024), "Fuyak" (2025), and "Ma Yang Suea" featuring Mai Patcharee (2026).
Besides performing and music, Nose Udom has authored several books such as "Because We Know Each Other," "Solo Mic 1," "Nang Sue Poe," "Solo Mic Show Huay," "Notebook," "Ruam Mit Taephanich," "Kon Klong," "Solo 4," "GU 1 (Garbage of Udom)," "GU 2," "GU 3," "GU 123," "Solo Show," "I Don’t Know," "A Dom" parody magazine, "Tud Muek GU 123 (Japanese edition)," "A Dom 2," "Domcumentary," and "Dom Dai" (2011).
