It has become sad news in the Thai entertainment industry as "Grandmother Piak Namngern Boonnak" the veteran actress passed away peacefully this morning (9 July 2026) at the age of 83, surrounded by the sorrow of family and relatives.
Grandmother Namngern had an extensive acting career in both film and television. Close associates revealed she passed away peacefully in her sleep. The family will hold a funeral water-pouring ceremony today at 4:00 PM at Nuanchan Temple, Bueng Kum District, Bangkok.
