The model looks stunningly beautiful now, almost unrecognizable. Yo Yosawadee Hasadivijit. After flying to South Korea for facial surgery, she chose to correct her upper eyelids, remove excess eyelid skin, address eyelid muscle weakness, rearrange lower eyelid fat, smooth wrinkles under the eyes, lift the cheeks, tighten the neck, remove a double chin, lift the face, and temples.
Most recently, Yo Yosawadee revealed her appearance three months after surgery, showing clear progress in beauty. She posted a video answering questions about her facial surgery, captioning it: “7 minutes I want you to watch until the end before commenting Today marks 3 months and 1 week since my decision to undergo surgery.”
Sometimes when I read comments, it feels like my surgery has caused great trouble for some people, leading them to belittle me and make me feel bad. But in truth, it is a personal decision to do something that makes me happier.
I am an optimist and believe everyone has the right to choose their own path. Some find happiness in natural beauty and look great as they are, with no need for changes. Others choose surgery for confidence, life opportunities, work, or simply to live happier. That is equally valid.
The important thing is to be mindful, mature, and ready physically, mentally, in time, and financially, because surgery is not a trivial matter. Not everyone needs to transform drastically. You choose how much you want to change.
For me, from age 15 to now 47, everything has changed gradually with age and technology. I have never rushed into anything as some assume. My progress does not come from being “unattractive” but from discipline, self-care, hard work, and the ability to choose the best for my life. I've been a model for 23 years; I can't say I was ever ugly. I've said that before
I believe our happiness should not cause others suffering. Belittling others ultimately reflects back on ourselves. My life is simple: I do what makes me happy and that I can handle, keep myself healthy, live fully, and take responsibility for my decisions.”
In the video, at one point Yo addresses negative comments saying, “They say I had my eye sockets smashed and that my original bone structure is gone. Which original bone structure? At what age? I wasn’t around when such procedures existed? Where have you been? Comments like these make me realize that no matter what I do, I can't please everyone.”
“Speaking as someone who had surgery, I want to emphasize that I’m happy with what I did. I don’t want to grow old stuck in my past appearance. That’s my happiness. If others want to keep their original facial features until death, that’s their happiness. For me, this is my happiness—it gives me confidence. I enjoy dressing up. I've spent millions on my face but never on changing my character. It’s about discipline, effort, and determination. Having a good face means also having a good figure. Getting to this point hasn’t been easy.”
“I never had bone shaving or cutting; this is my real facial bone structure. The wide appearance in the past was due to jaw muscles, not bones. I've said this countless times. I have jaw muscles that made my face look square since childhood. It's large here. After Botox injections here, my face looks normal like anyone else.”
“Today, I’ve had a facelift and continue Botox because a facelift doesn't reduce muscle size. I want this jaw muscle shape; I don’t want to have a square jaw until 60. I want to explain what has happened to my face, so don’t judge me. Today I’m happy, beautiful like this, and that’s it.”
