The wildly popular stand-up comedy “Born, Old, Sick, Granny” from its first year returned with overwhelming response, extending the fun into a second year with the new show “EUCERIN Present POMPAM’S STAND UP COMEDY - The Old Lady Spitting Wisdom, Aging with Shine.” Pompam-Niti Chaichitathorn, known as “Grandma Pompam,” a well-known host, actor, writer, and producer famous for "Toey Tiew Thai" and "Talk-Ka-Toey," once again delivered top-notch laughter, joy, and tear-inducing humor in two performances held at Ballroom 1-2, 1st floor, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
Both the afternoon and evening shows were warmly supported by many colleagues from the entertainment industry, including Opal Panisara, Pookie Paweenuch, Toey Jarinporn, Ja Yossinee, Tel Kittipak, Pingpong Thongchai, DJ Aoi Napaporn, DJ Aun Phuwanat, the "Toey Tiew Thai" gang Jenny Panan, Golf Kittiphat, Bas Natthawut Poonpiriya, Lookwa Pijika, Sin Thossaporn, and many more.
For two and a half hours in “The Old Lady Spitting Wisdom,” Pompam, at 45 years old, packed the show with lively stories from her life. She shared experiences proudly accepting aging while still eager to learn new things—from hilarious baking classes, pursuing a master’s degree at 45, engaging in witty debates about whether grilling pork on a pan is personal or communal, to tackling the generation gap and adapting to age differences. She also addressed handling disappointments with understanding, and recounted past love experiences—from being dumped and rejected to running away from a crazy person. Each story was told with sharp wit, teasing, biting humor, and laughter, yet all uplifted the spirit.
The event also featured beloved guest artists who performed special songs and joined Grandma Pompam on stage: Ten Nararak sang “Being Busy Is Just an Excuse of a Heart That’s Gone” in the afternoon show, and Nat Sakdatorn energized the evening with “Missing You Loudly,” adding excitement and drawing cheers from the audience.
In the final part of the show, Grandma Pompam left the audience with a thoughtful message about the luck of being alive today: “Happiness doesn’t need to be chased; you just have to notice it… exactly!” She ended the show with lively dancing, leaving everyone fulfilled and uplifted as they headed home.
