Ying Rhatha Ying Rhatha openly addresses influencer drama criticizing her botox-stiffened face for lacking emotional expression. She stresses that acting depends on inner emotion and provides an update that her salivary gland inflammation has fully healed.
Recently, Ying Rhatha spoke candidly and straightforwardly about the issue in her strong-willed style. She accepted all criticism gracefully and explained her perspective on the art of acting.
"I accept the criticism. However, I still believe that acting comes from inner feelings and understanding the character more than just facial expressions or facial muscles. Especially for the role of lawyer Jitree, who has a rather stoic face and communicates through her eyes and emotions from within. These feelings emit frequencies that video cameras can capture," she said.
Ying Rhatha admitted she has had procedures throughout her life, with injections 15-20 years ago. This has now caused accumulated scarring, so sometimes on shoots with poor lighting you can see lumps under her eyes. She plans to undergo facial treatment in the future but needs to clear her work schedule first.
Beyond beauty concerns, fans have expressed worry upon hearing about Ying’s illness. She shared that recently she has been overworking, rehearsing singing and acting in a series late into the night, leading to insufficient rest. She developed a sore throat and difficulty swallowing food and saliva. Doctors diagnosed her with inflammation of the salivary and lymph glands caused by bacterial infection due to low water intake and heavy voice use. Fortunately, she sought medical help quickly and completed a 10-day antibiotic course. She is now fully recovered.
