On his Facebook page, Yuthana Boonorm posted candidly about the issue, saying, "Many people have told me, 'Do you realize the Big Mountain festival has been getting worse every year?' I have been hearing this more and more until last year when attendance dropped by half. That's when I realized, hey, this is serious. I take responsibility for letting it get this way. "
