The brewery fire in Lat Phrao caused significant losses, including multiple deaths and injuries. Recently, the famous comedian "Ball Chernyim" opened up to "Thairath Entertainment" revealing that he is preparing to join a charity concert to help and support the families of the "Thosakan Band" musicians at P. Kung Phao in Laksi, Saphan Mai, on the night of Tuesday, 21 July. All proceeds will be given without any deductions to assist the affected families of Thosakan Band.
Additionally, Ball spoke about Nong Din, the lead singer of Thosakan Band who passed away yesterday, saying he was very kind and always greeted him warmly. He expressed deep sorrow over his passing.
When asked if Ball Chernyim would organize a concert to support the Thosakan Band members?
"I am not the organizer. I actually heard about it from Mr. Benz, who asked if I was available. I said okay, I'll join. I sympathize with our fellow professionals, so I will participate. After filming a show, I will head to P. Kung Phao in Laksi, Saphan Mai, on the upcoming Tuesday. All proceeds will be given without deductions to Thosakan Band. P. Kung Phao will also waive their fees, donating everything to the band and the families for support."
When asked about the band members, Ball said all the musicians are united in helping. "We have been following the news and felt very saddened and heartbroken. We understand the loss experienced by the families and those affected. So when we saw this support event, we wanted to help. Also, I’ve met Nong Din before; he came up and greeted me, saying ‘Hi, brother Ball, I’m a singer and I really enjoy your entertainment.’ To suddenly lose him like this is very sad. I sincerely offer my condolences to Thosakan Band."
Regarding safety measures following the fire, since their band also performs at various pubs and bars, what precautions do they take?
"I think it depends on each venue’s management and safety measures, which vary. We must be careful ourselves because when we work, we can’t always know the conditions of each place. They hire us because they appreciate us, but safety systems are the venue’s responsibility. We take care to be cautious."
"After this incident, I don’t know what else to say except to wish Nong Din’s soul peace in the afterlife. I send my support to Thosakan Band and the bereaved families. We understand their grief deeply. That’s why we want to show our willingness to help however we can."
