Following the controversy, Win and Fos posted apologies in English. Win wrote, which translates as, "Hello everyone, I have read all your messages and opinions about the hand symbol I used in my recent post.
I sincerely apologize for using the symbol without fully understanding its meaning and sensitivity. I mistakenly thought it was a general gesture for asking help in any situation, unaware of its specific significance.
