This remains a topic many continue to follow regarding Krit Sripoomset, owner of the popular gelato shop PARAMETER, which is currently trending.
Previously, Krit stated that customers who buy the gelato from his shop should eat it immediately and are discouraged from taking photos or videos beforehand. This is because he wants customers to fully savor the delicate, smooth texture and flavor, with specific conditions for eating such as no chewing, no large bites, and allowing the gelato to melt slowly.
Many people commented with questions and criticisms. Recently, Krit released a video responding to netizens' questions and explaining why customers are forbidden to photograph while eating, but he himself can do so.
In the video, Krit said that some people commented asking why he forbids others from filming but he can do it himself. Krit replied that he can film because of his training. His skill level—Ultrasmooth—allows the gelato to melt properly because he knows the exact melting timing. "Do you know that? You don’t because you haven’t trained. I trained in Italy for five years and became an expert. You can’t do what I do. So you don’t have the right to eat and film or take photos simultaneously. It’s a different skill set."
He also wrote the caption, "I'm here to answer comments about why I forbid photos and videos while eating gelato but can do it myself."
He added, "When I was in Italy, I trained thoroughly. I can even tell with my peripheral vision the exact temperature of my gelato, and I can talk while eating without compromising the texture. Our skills are different. I wanted to explain."
Following the post, netizens flooded comments such as: "I think the five years weren’t just to learn gelato making but sales skills—selling expensive products that people scramble to buy." Another said, "I believe he’s genuine, a true prankster, haha." Others commented, "Five years of training? Shouldn’t you praise him? To gain these skills requires practicing thousands of times daily, mastering a new way to eat gelato."
