Regarding the drama issue "Kris Sriphumset" concerning the gelato ice cream shop and the topic where he spoke about the Thai mindset. Recently, Kris himself has clarified this matter, mentioning that in some parts of his clips posted on social media, he advised not to chew and to take small scoops. This is a serious point, and the clips seen on social media were made playfully with the young people who came to the shop.
"I have been making these clips already, but now that the shop is popular, many people come to make content outside the shop. This causes what I do to be seen by many people, which might affect those who don't understand. If you look on Instagram, the people playing are teenagers from grades 9, 10, and 12 who bring ice cream from other shops to tease and play with me. I never mind because I am busy every day and I play with the young people daily. But now there are people from other provinces who have never watched the clips before, and I thought, 'Oh no.'"
For example, my Messi clip—do you think I was serious? I didn't think much of it. I believe we're taking this too seriously. But about chewing gelato and taking pictures, I really do think about that. If you buy pad thai and leave it for an hour before eating, does it taste better? That's common sense. And with my ice cream, 500 people already complain that it's expensive. I just say, 'Eat it quickly, it's better.'"
When a reporter asked if Kris needed to soften his content, he replied, "Ah, yes, yes, it needs to be softer, right?".
