A warning to ice cream lovers: a popular shop's ice cream contained glass shards. While chewing, the shards cut the tongue, causing bleeding. The victim urges the shop to show responsibility beyond just paying medical bills.
This became a hot topic online, drawing widespread attention to the shop. Parameter Gelato or the shop owned by "Krit"
A Facebook user shared her experience at the gelato shop, saying she bought nut-flavored ice cream but felt something hard while chewing. She then noticed blood in her mouth and was shocked to find a glass shard the size of a pea in the ice cream, with some pieces swallowed accidentally.
After the incident, the shop immediately took the ice cream cup for inspection and advised the victim to visit a hospital. Doctors found small wounds on the tongue and inner cheek. Fortunately, the glass shards were chewed finely and did not cut deep in the throat, but a tetanus shot was given as a precaution. The victim was deeply disappointed not only by the foreign object in the food but especially by the shop's response, which was limited to refunding the money and covering medical expenses based on receipts.
The victim expressed her feelings:"As a customer paying premium prices, we expect higher safety standards. Refunds and medical bill coverage are basic responsibilities, but what we want to see is sincerity. The owner or responsible person should personally apologize, explain the cause, and outline preventive measures, not just exchange messages. Luckily, the injury was not serious, but if it had been worse, no amount of money would compensate. I hope this serves as a warning and that the shop improves its quality control system."
