A controversy arose when a clip surfaced showing “Non Thanon” speaking to fans below the stage at HOWAREYOU FEST @ MGI HALL, BRAVO BKK on 17 July 2026. Afterwards, a fan shouted, “You’re late, you have to perform extra.”
Non responded that he was not late and it was not his fault because he had been waiting to go on stage since the afternoon. He teased the fans, saying they shouldn’t speak without knowing the background and that it was good he didn’t sue them.
Non Thanon immediately replied, “If I was late, I’d perform extra, I swear. It’s not my fault that the show started late because I arrived early—maybe even before some of you. So, we won’t argue about timing. This is how I make my living, and I do it with dedication because I want to meet you. Don’t speak without knowing the full story or like internet trolls. It’s good I’m not suing you—sorry, just joking.”
Regarding the entire incident, Non Thanon was scheduled to perform at HOWAREYOU FEST @ MGI HALL, BRAVO BKK at 20:00. He arrived at the venue at 18:22, supported by photographic evidence.
His agency, LOVEiS, accepted the job with a clear contract stipulating a "Festival" event format. Non has long taken a firm stance against performing at bar venues. However, on-site, the organizer breached the agreement by setting up the event like a bar, including tables and serving alcoholic drinks. Due to this breach, the team had to inform that the artist could not perform unless the tables were removed. The organizer then attempted to fix the issue by clearing all tables from the venue, which took time and delayed the show until about 20:30.
This led to fans shouting at the stage. The agency, LOVEiS immediately issued a statement affirming the artist's innocence, stating:
“Announcement from Love Is Entertainment regarding HOWAREYOU FEST @ MGI HALL, BRAVO BKK on 17 July 2026.
The event organizer breached the employment agreement terms by not holding the event as a Festival as agreed with the agency and artist. The format used was not part of the contract conditions, leading the agency and organizer to reach a resolution to adjust the event format to comply with the employment terms.
This allowed the performance to proceed and the artist to perform fully. Due to these circumstances, the artist’s show was delayed from the original schedule. This is for your information. Love Is Entertainment.”
