“Guy-Haru” Clarify 5 Points on Clip of Child Nearly Hit by Car, Assert No Intent to Shame Anyone

After the video clip of the family “Guy Ratchanon” , “Haru Supakob” posted on the YouTube channel Guy Haru Family showing their children visiting Rom Hub Market in Samut Songkhram province, recently “Guy-Haru” posted a five-point statement clarifying the current news issue, stressing that some information was misunderstood. The statement is as follows:

1. The clip was not made to shame or create drama. The scene is a brief part of the YouTube show Guy Haru Family (Kuman Travel EP.422) at Rom Hub Market, which is part of the travel story for that day, not a clip specifically recorded to publicize that incident.

2. Apologies for the inaccurate timeline previously given. Our family stated the event happened about a month ago, which was incorrect because the actual incident occurred much earlier. As time passed and the family held no grudge or concern, the timing was misremembered. I apologize; it was my mistake.

3. Why was the clip released only now? Kuman Travel is a pre-recorded program (stock footage), not live or real-time. Each episode is released according to a planned schedule, so the publication date of the clip does not match the date of the event.

4. Our family was unaware of the driver's death. When the clip was published, we did not personally know the driver and had no prior knowledge of his passing. Therefore, there was no intent to exploit or connect the clip to that event in any way.

5. Regarding the vehicle registration information, our family does not know how authorities obtained the driver's details because we did not provide any vehicle registration or personal information to any agency or individual. Only our office team had that information, and no one disclosed it, as we never wanted this issue to become a major matter.

Finally, our family holds no grudges and never intended to shame anyone. If that had been our intention, we would have released the clip immediately after the incident, not as part of a travel show being aired gradually as usual. We hope this clarification helps everyone understand our intentions. Thank you for all the support, and we send our condolences to the deceased driver's family. Guy Haru Family
