A TikTok user posted a video showing Italian students making loud noises on the BTS Skytrain among other passengers, despite being asked to lower their voices. The students responded with derogatory remarks and insulting gestures, causing significant outrage and dissatisfaction among Thai netizens.
Meanwhile, the popular actor Tac Pharanyu Rojanawutthitham also refused to tolerate the issue, posting: “Siam smiles❌️ Siam terrifies✔️ In times of war we unite and fight; in peace, we fight among ourselves藍 This is my country, remember it well.”
He added a sharp remark: “We Thais sincerely welcome all well-mannered tourists. The delicious Thai dish is 'Som Tum.' As for rude tourists, we have a menu recommendation: ‘son-tii-x’ (a vulgar term).”
