“Bas Go Went Go” Explains After Being Asked Why He Didn’t Post Condolences for “Halun Solo” on His Page

The passing of “Halun Solo” the famous travel YouTuber who died in Georgia while filming a show and traveling in the country, deeply saddened and shocked people across Thailand. Many followers of Halun’s channel and those tracking the news of his disappearance supported the search from day one until the sad news emerged that “Halun Solo” had left us. Many followers posted condolences to the family and paid tribute to Halun.

Recently, a minor controversy arose when someone asked why “Bas Go Went Go” had not posted anything about Halun on the Go Went Go page.

Bas then posted a statement clarifying the matter:

“Hello, due to comments asking why I wouldn’t post about this incident on the page, I’d like to clarify that I feel just as saddened and shocked by this event as everyone else. I posted my condolences to the family on my personal Facebook (which is public) as soon as I heard the news yesterday.

To me, expressing condolences is a sensitive and personal matter, so I deliberately chose to use my personal space to communicate this rather than posting on the main page. I also want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the team and volunteers involved in searching and helping Halun.

I understand and respect the expressions of all pages and channels, as everyone has their own way of communicating, honoring, and expressing condolences.

Finally, I would like to express my deepest condolences again to Halun’s family. It is very sad to lose such a good and talented person. I send my support to the family.”
