After Ann Pattira the wife of Chakrit Yamnam posted a health update about Nong Pho, her son, who was urgently hospitalized due to being afflicted with three illnesses simultaneously: Mycoplasma infection, Kawasaki disease causing high fever, and MIS-C. Doctors revealed this is an extremely rare case, with less than 5% of patients suffering from all three diseases at once. This deeply worried his parents, who did not expect their son to become so seriously ill.
Shortly after, father Chakrit shared good news that they had brought Nong Pho home to continue recovery and monitoring.
Most recently, mother Ann updated on Nong Pho’s condition after a follow-up visit with the doctor, stating that her son's blood results are now normal, and the peeling skin on his hands and feet will continue until fully healed. He must continue medication for another two months.
"We went for a follow-up with the doctor. Blood results are now within normal ranges. An echocardiogram showed that from 3 heart leaks, there are now only 2 spots left: one very small, and the other slightly reduced in size. The peeling on his hands and feet will continue until normal. He will take medication for another 2 months. While in the hospital, he drew pictures for the doctor and nurses. In two months, he should be able to resume normal activities. Keep fighting, my son."
We send our best wishes for Nong Pho’s speedy recovery.
