Tae Thaman Taepan, also known as Tae Rawin Taepan, was born on 8 Jul 1980, currently aged 46. He holds a bachelor's degree in Communication Arts, Public Relations major, from the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce.
Tae Dragon5 began his entertainment career working behind the scenes, modeling, and appearing in commercials. In 2000, he joined the boy band Dragon5 under Green Beans, a label of GMM Grammy, alongside Andy Khemphimuk, Tao Adisorn, Yuan Kavinrat, and Oak Sakorn. Dragon5 was a well-known boy band in the 2000s, famous for hits like "NON-STOP" with the catchy line "Outstart, non-stop," as well as ballads such as "Stop Fooling Yourself" and "Wrong Person." The group also acted in the drama "Plook Sanaeha" produced by Exact Co.
After reaching a peak with music, the Dragon5 members went their separate ways to pursue individual paths. Tae Dragon5 shifted to behind-the-scenes work, hosting children's programs on Channel 3 Family, running a YouTube channel for kids and families called VROD, and operating a men's barbershop named VROD The Cut.
On the morning of 6 Aug 2026, Tae rode his bicycle from his home in Bang Kruai, Nonthaburi, and lost contact. His family began searching and filed a missing person report after 24 hours. Meanwhile, Andy Dragon5 coordinated with police to review CCTV footage. Tae had sent a message to friends in the Dragon5 group chat two days earlier.
At approximately 14:30 on 7 Aug 2026, Nonthaburi City Police Station was alerted by a boat operator who found the body of 46-year-old "Tae Dragon5" floating midstream in the Chao Phraya River near the Rama VII Bridge in Nonthaburi. He was wearing a brown T-shirt, black shorts, and sandals with straps. The body was swollen, with a black shoulder bag containing two stones and a parachute cord.
Authorities towed the body from the river to a dock near the Department of Rural Roads Training Center building, Rama 7, Mueang Nonthaburi District, Nonthaburi. Preliminary examination found no wounds on the body, and the bicycle used by the deceased when leaving home has not been found.
