After family and friends issued announcements searching for Tae Dragon Five or Tae Thaman Taepan, former member of the band Dragon5, a famous boy band from the 2000s, who disappeared from his home in Bang Kruai, Nonthaburi Province, along with his beloved bicycle, around 4:00 a.m. on the early morning of 6 Aug 2026 and lost contact.
Most recently, Lek Fandend posted a message on FacebookDream Good - Fandend, Courageous Thai Hearts, We Do Not Abandon Each Other,stating
"Ruamkatanyu volunteer rescuers found a male body floating, details at 00 hours. The body is now under Rama VII Bridge on the park side. The deceased is a man wearing a gray Mickey Mouse T-shirt and cycling shorts."
It was later confirmed that the deceased was Tae Dragon Five. Thairath Entertainment contacted Lek Fandend for comment, who revealed,
"About 40 minutes ago, I received a report that a body was found floating. This morning, I was having a meal with a rescue volunteer, because Tae had gone missing since yesterday. Normally, bodies floating in water appear after 2-3 days if drowned, but this body surfaced sooner.
I confirm that it is the body of Tae Dragon Five, just retrieved from the middle of the river near the pier. Based on physical characteristics, I am certain it is him. The next steps are for the police and forensic processes. The photos and information sent to me seem to confirm this."
