After the former male singer Tae Thaman Taepan or Tae Dragon Five a member of the 2000s boy band Dragon Five, disappeared after cycling and could not be reached, prompting his family to announce a search.
It turned into sad news when volunteer rescue workers from Ruamkatanyu Foundation found Tae Dragon Five's body in the Chao Phraya River near Rama 7 Bridge in Nonthaburi Province. On 6 Aug 2026, Tae Dragon Five rode his trusted bicycle alone from home at around 4:00 a.m., as recorded by the village's CCTV.
On 6 Aug 2026 at 6:30 p.m., Ms. Walaiphan Srinapapan, 42, Tae Dragon Five's girlfriend, filed a missing person report with investigators at Bang Kruai Police Station, Nonthaburi Province, stating that Tae disappeared from his home with a cream-colored bicycle at about 4:00 a.m. on 6 Aug 2026 and could not be contacted by family.
Tae was wearing cycling gear and carrying a black backpack when he left home, without taking his wallet or phone. Later that night, friends and various news pages began posting announcements searching for Tae.
On 7 Aug 2026 in the morning, Thairath Entertainment interviewed Tae Adison, also known as Tae Dragon Five, regarding Tae. He said Tae had just sent him a message, which he did not reply to, and the next day Tae called but he did not answer because he was preparing to go to China with the kids, but he thought nothing of it.
On 7 Aug 2026 at 2:10 p.m., the Facebook page "Good Dream - Bright Dream, Brave Thai Hearts Unite" posted a photo and wrote: “At 2:10 p.m., Ruamkatanyu volunteer rescue workers found a male body floating. Details: W.00. The body is now placed under Rama 7 Bridge near the park. The deceased is a man wearing a gray Mickey Mouse t-shirt and cycling shorts.”
At 2:40 p.m. on 7 Aug 2026, a post confirmed, “At 2:40 p.m., relatives confirmed this is Mr. Tae Dragon Five. Our condolences.”
