The unexpected passing of “Tae Dragon Five” also known as Tae Thaman Taephan, a member of the famous boy band Dragon Five, occurred after he disappeared from his home in the early hours of 6 August 2026. Volunteer rescue workers from Ruamkatanyu Foundation found his body in the Chao Phraya River near Rama 7 Bridge in Nonthaburi Province at 14:10 on 7 August 2026, causing great sorrow to his mother, wife, family, friends, and close associates.
His family brought Tae’s body to hold religious rites at Sala 5, Wat Buakwan. Tonight marks the second night of the funeral wake, with the atmosphere filled with deep sorrow. Everyone in the family remains grief-stricken by Tae’s sudden passing, especially his mother, Dara Taephan, and his wife, Namkaeng Walaiphan Srinapapan, who are being closely supported by those around them.
Many friends from the entertainment industry came to express their condolences and support, including Andy Khemphimuk, Mos Patipan, Kae Cholada, Tae Satthawat, Bell Chinadoll, Phet Mar (former judge of The Star), Tong Phakarmai, Aem Suthee, DJ Por Worathok (Porkam Poo), Vespa STER, Natalie Stibert (Natalie Malukkeukkyuy), Annita Sarucha, Teen Sarawut, and Ann Thitima. Tonight, GMM Grammy Public Company Limited hosted the event.
The funeral wake for Tae Dragon Five will continue on Monday, 10 August 2026, at 19:00 for the final night, with the cremation ceremony scheduled for Tuesday, 11 August 2026, at 15:00 at the crematorium of Wat Buakwan. Thairath Entertainment extends its condolences to the family.
