Recently, Matthew and Lydia were interviewed about this topic while attending the 8th Nakharat Awards at Aksra Theatre, King Power. They stated that
"May I ask about the scandal involving a husband secretly taking a course on cheating as a singer? Are we being suspected as well?"
Matthew said, "I understand the story sounds similar with the initials, but actually, I haven't acted for over 10 years; I'm a host now. I get it; it’s one of those news stories. We don’t know if it’s true or who it’s about, but I’m okay. I still love my life (laughs). I’m not ready to risk anything like that."
Lydia added, "Honestly, we’re almost always together, so I don’t know where he’d find time to stray. Sometimes I call him,"
Matthew interrupted, "Calls all the time."
Lydia continued, "I call, and he never answers. So, when he doesn’t pick up, I have our kids call him. Then he answers immediately. If I want him to come home, I ask the kids—Dylan, Demi Dion, or whoever—to say, ‘Daddy, what time are you coming home?’"
