Many were moved to tears when the young country singer "Kantong Thung Ngern" shared her pride in saving money to build a small house for "Mae Samran" aged 70, intending for her mother to have a bedroom in the middle of the rice fields and live happily. Recently, the housewarming ceremony for Mae Samran was held at "Ban Suan Mae Samran," Ban Non Kho, Buntarik District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, choosing 3 August as an auspicious date for the family.
The housewarming event was simple. In the morning, monks were invited to perform merit-making for the house and family’s good fortune, followed by live music that created an atmosphere full of smiles, laughter, and joy among family and guests. Kantong expressed gratitude to her family, siblings, and everyone who helped and supported her, making the event successful, as well as friends and relatives who brought housewarming gifts for her mother.
Kantong explained her intention behind this: she saved money to build this small house for her mother at age 70. "My mother is my pride today. Now she has a bedroom in the rice fields. She has suffered a lot, and from now on, she can live happily and contentedly." This house may seem "small" to many, but for Kantong, it was built with sweat, savings, love, and a child's determination to repay her mother. Ultimately, a child's success may not be owning the biggest house but seeing their mother have a warm home and live happily when they are able to care for her. 凉懶❤️ #KantongThungNgern #Kantong #BanSuanMaeSamran
