Country music singer Sunaree Ratchasima Sunaree Ratchasima was hospitalized with severe abdominal pain that prevented her from performing at a concert. An endoscopy revealed a 3 cm tumor blocking her large intestine, and tissue samples were sent for examination, as previously reported.
Recently, Sunaree Ratchasima has undergone surgery. Her team announced via her fan page that “The surgery for Mother Sunaree went well. She is now resting in the ICU.”
They then shared a photo of the singer with Hero and Arthur, her two sons, along with their father visiting after she left the ICU. They wrote, “Mother has come out of the ICU safely and is strong and well. Thank you to the father of Hero and Arthur for visiting and giving support.”
The team later posted a photo of Sunaree starting physical therapy, saying, “Today Mother began some physical therapy.” They also shared a video of Sunaree discussing her post-surgery condition, saying she is improving but still has pain at the wound. She is trying to sit up to help her intestines function and assured everyone not to worry. It’s nothing serious—just healing the wound after removing the tumor that was blocking the intestine.
She explained that the cause was linked to her daily habits—working against the clock, holding in bowel and bladder urges, drinking too little water because she feared frequent urination would disrupt work, and that eating lots of vegetables doesn’t help if water intake is low. This can cause blockages. She thanked everyone for their concern and flashed a peace sign.
Most recently, on the morning of Mother’s Day (12 Aug 2026), her team posted a video of Sunaree consuming liquid food, writing, “The doctor has allowed liquid food now. Happy Mother’s Day to everyone. Wishing you good health.” Thairath Entertainment wishes her a speedy recovery.
