After Nene Royal or Praew Rattikan Amlai the 16-year-old girl from Phuket province traveled to compete on the show America’s Got Talent in the United States, where she impressed by receiving 4 Yeses from the judges and advanced to the Judges' Callbacks round to perform live again in front of the show’s panel.
This time, Howie Mandel, one of the judges, called Nene back to perform once more. Nene chose the song “Hysteria” by Muse, the renowned British alternative rock band, to showcase her talents. She excelled again with live singing and guitar playing, moving many viewers to goosebumps, applause, and continuous praise.
Nene said she felt she performed perfectly, while Howie praised her confidence and said she was more fun to watch this time. Nene agreed, saying that being on stage with music boosted her confidence and energy.Watch the clip)
After the live performance, Howie invited Nene for a chat and to announce the results. He praised her as an outstanding musician and performer but noted this was a tough year with many strong acts. He then declared, “You’re amazing. You’ve made it to the live shows.”
Nene responded with a wow, smiling and laughing with relief and joy while thanking Howie. He encouraged her to keep surprising audiences and said she had the qualities to become a superstar.
Nene then left the room to share the good news with fellow contestants and happily embraced her father.
Besides the judges’ and audience’s praise, once the show posted clips of Nene’s live performance and her advancement announcement on social media, fans from Thailand and around the world congratulated her. They admired her extraordinary performance skills, English communication, unique charm, and steadily growing confidence.
The live shows will be decided by audience votes from the U.S. The Quarter-finals or Live Show round features 44 contestants divided over four weeks with 11 contestants per week, airing live on NBC in the United States. Thai viewers can watch via True X-Zyte channel 340 in Thailand.
The Quarter-finals (Live Show) dates are August 18-19, 25-26, September 1-2, and 8-9. The Semi-finals are on September 15-16, with the finale on September 22 and the winner announced on September 23, 2026.
