Many were touched when "Eva Pawarawan" shared her life story through a special clip, expressing gratitude to her childhood self, or "Nong Ui," Eva's original name, looking back on the journey from a young girl with dreams of becoming an actress, wanting to stand on stage and be known, to today when those dreams have gradually come true in ways perhaps different from what she once imagined.
Eva Pawarawan said, "Today I want to make this clip to thank my childhood self. This is a picture of me when I was about 2 years old — 'Little Ui,' my old name. Little Ui had dreamed of being an actress since childhood, wanting to be recognized everywhere she went and to be on stage. Though today she may not yet be a successful actress, at least she is now a very successful influencer, YouTuber, and TikToker."
There is a saying: 'Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.' Aim high. Even if we don’t reach the moon, we land on beautiful stars, perhaps more wonderful than we imagined. Little Ui was bullied since childhood because she couldn’t speak English well. She moved to Harrow around grade 4 or 5 and, having the nickname Ui, was bullied even more.
At first, my family wanted me to be a businessperson, to continue the family business. I want to clarify that I will return to help the family; I am not abandoning them. Currently, I have a large team of over 10 people to care for. Therefore, I want to establish a stable foundation before fully supporting my family.
Today, I can say that Little Ui is very capable. Do you know that I earn my own money every month without asking my family for a single baht? I support my team financially, acting as the captain steering the ship to guide everyone safely to shore. Even though I’m a slow-living boss who can be lazy, I’m very proud of myself.
I also created my own portfolio, which I am very proud of. The portfolio tells my story so that one day when I go to castings, I can present it for them to read. The theater play I prepared — previously, I had 6,000 followers. Everything is truly possible if we never give up and believe in our dreams.
I want to thank my childhood self for holding on to that kind heart. Despite negative comments and people trying to hurt me constantly, sometimes without any reason, I thank myself for never giving up on my dreams. Today, I am a successful influencer, an actress, and have done many things I never imagined.
If I could talk to 3-, 7-, or 10-year-old Ui, she would never believe that the little girl who performed a home theater play at age 7 would become Eva today.
Now, I feel happy with my life. I want to grow more and build a stronger foundation. In the past, I was very jealous of others — severely so. But in the end, when I faced suffering, I realized that no matter how famous or wealthy we are, it cannot erase suffering.
This taught me that human desire is endless, like a river without end. We must learn to be content and happy at our current point and continue on our path without letting time define our success.
I thank all the insults and criticisms that made me want to prove myself. But today, there’s no need to prove anything to anyone. You are good enough. Don’t compare yourself to others or hurt your own heart. I’m very proud of myself from the first step I took until now — it’s been amazing. I love Little Ui very much, and I love Eva too."
This reveals another side of "Eva," showing that to stand proudly today, her journey was not just about success but full of lessons, bullying, and struggles with her own feelings. From "Little Ui," a small girl with a dream, to today's Eva, who no longer needs to prove herself to anyone because simply refusing to give up and preserving her heart means she has come a long way and is strong enough.
