A belated birthday party with a local temple fair theme will be held tomorrow (23 August 2026) in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province for the famous Likay star. “Kung Suthirat Wongthewan” He said he is giving this belated birthday party as a gift to himself, promising a fully fun and complete event. He also represents sending encouragement to the people of Pua, who are currently suffering from flooding.
Actually, my birthday was on 17 August. We will hold the belated birthday party tomorrow, 23 August, at Pannawit School, Bang Pa-in District, Ayutthaya Province. It feels like a good central location, close by because Chai Nat would be too far. So Ayutthaya is a good middle ground. At 47, I feel things are getting better. I feel like I’m doing new things and more, so I think this is a good year for me.
I have already released music that’s been well received. There are still some slow songs made but not yet released. I have Likay performances, band concerts, and retro dance shows with the Wongthewan Combo. I’m doing various things as usual. As for a birthday gift, I haven’t really thought of anything else. This year, as I said, I want to hold a concert — a gift to myself so I can have a memorable moment with my fans. This special event will feature a variety of my songs that fans have listened to over many years. We’ve gathered my music to share, with special guest artists I’m close with. I think fans will enjoy the music because each artist has their own hit songs.
I’m hoping to collaborate with famous Likay troupes from different generations, from the senior 'Ae' to me and younger 'Bank.' I feel it would be very interesting. If the opportunity arises to actually work together, it would be historic and exciting. If it happens, it would be a great reward for Likay fans. I’d be very pleased.
I also send encouragement to the people of Pua District in Nan Province. The flooding is very severe and fast; people barely had time to prepare. Now we must all help each other. I send my support to those affected by the flood. Everyone is working together and won’t abandon each other. Thanks to the volunteer teams—I have seen the behind-the-scenes support from P’Bum and P’Ple who help with social assistance all along. I want to encourage everyone to keep fighting, and I am always here to support. If there is anything I can help with or participate in, I’m happy to do so. I want to encourage everyone to work strongly and take care of their health.
