A hot issue emerged in the entertainment industry when "Toffee 3.50" or Siwadon Chantanasavee came forward with a shocking revelation after discovering that a pool villa manager in Saraburi province, a close friend of a partner, had embezzled over 800,000 baht from walk-in customers over the past 2-3 years.
Toffee explained that since he lives in Bangkok, he entrusted the manager to oversee operations. However, he grew suspicious when the financial figures seemed irregular, so he reviewed past transactions and found transfer slips showing money going into the manager’s personal account. When questioned, the manager claimed he was deceived by a famous fortune teller in Rayong province into transferring money for rituals to save his ailing mother.
"The total is over 800,000 baht, nearly a million. It took a long time to accumulate. When I asked for compensation, he said he couldn’t pay. Now I’ve filed a police report and am waiting for the prosecutor to press charges. If he offers to return 500,000 baht through mediation, it would be better, but he has nothing. So it’s going to court. He just plays dumb, saying the fortune teller tricked him, and nearly all the transfer slips were payments to that fortune teller."
Additionally, Toffee was shocked when inspecting the employee’s room to find many objects used in black magic rituals and sacred thread ceremonies. It appears the former employee might have been both cursed and deceived. Nevertheless, despite the employee claiming victimhood, Toffee and his partners must pursue full legal action due to the large sum involved and the lack of funds to repay.
