The feud between close friends has become a widely followed topic. "Ta Fedfe" and "Yat Chaisoro or Yat Fedfe" which led to two lawsuits totaling 20 million baht. Recently, Ta Fedfe opened up on the "Hon Krasae" show, revealing that former close friend Yat Fedfe, also known as Yat Chaisoro, gaslighted him and removed his name from the partnership without his knowledge. Meanwhile, Yat called into the show to deny the allegations and said they should prove the truth in court.
Regarding the history of the "Fedfe Boy Band (FEDFE)," Thairath Entertainment has gathered the background.
- The Fedfe Boy Band began 16 years ago with Ta as the leader who invited 10 friends to create content. Yat joined as the ninth member. At that time, Ta was also running his own personal YouTube and Facebook channels.
: The Fedfe Boy Band (FEDFE) channel is considered a legendary YouTube channel. It started as a group of friends with distinctive personalities and quirky nicknames like Yat, Ta, Jedet, James500, and Wowwow. Their content focused on comedy, pranks, and hilarious challenges that went viral in the early days of YouTube in Thailand. Many clips were very popular back then, though some were considered too edgy and have since been removed.
- At that time, YouTube did not pay for views, and friends were skeptical. Ta said he wanted to prove it, so they started making videos. The first clip had little attention, but the second became an instant hit.
- The Fedfe Boy Band channel grew rapidly and became a legendary comedy channel on Thai YouTube.
- The Fedfe Boy Band lasted about 6-7 years before disbanding due to changing social media trends and rising expenses. Ta managed their finances simply, paying friends whatever salary they wanted, enabling some to buy cars while he could only afford a motorcycle.
- After splitting up, Ta invited Yat to collaborate again and renamed their YouTube and Facebook channel from "Ta Fedfe" to "Tayatchaisoro." The name "Chaisoro" was given by a monk. The original company was "Rutthee," registered by Yat’s wife's sister but inactive. They later renamed it "Chaisoro" to avoid registering a new company.
- "Tayatchaisoro" had Ta holding 49% of shares, Yat 49%, and Yat’s wife 2%, effectively restructuring the old company’s board and shareholders.
- They began producing videos using Ta’s house as an office, with Koi editing, Yat’s sister managing accounting, and Yat’s wife assisting, who was close to the accountant.
- "Ta Fedfe," or Likit Sitthiphan, is a Thai YouTuber and actor, co-founder of the FEDFE (Fedfe Boy Band) group, famous for creative and wild comedy clips during the early days of Thai YouTube.
- Ta shared on "Hon Krasae" that he dreamed of becoming a film director and TV host. He experienced the highest and lowest points, winning several short film contests and nearly directing a GDH project. However, he felt it wasn’t his path and lacked sufficient skill, so he quit his assistant director role at GDH. Afterwards, a contact invited him to work at an advertising company.
- He then started making YouTube videos in the early days without knowing how to monetize but kept producing content.
- Ta described how he met Yat: as a fan and admirer, Ta was Yat’s first fan. In grade 7, Ta observed Yat as a funny person and wanted to befriend him, finally becoming friends in grade 10 when they were classmates.
- Yat’s real name is Kittisak Wetprasarn, nicknamed Ef, also known by several industry names such as Yat Ha, Yat, and others.
