After Re McDonald the famous actor and travel YouTuber passed away permanently, his family held Buddhist prayer services at the Rattanapram Hall, Wat Yang Royal Monastery, from 20-25 Aug 2026.
Most recently, on the morning of 26 Aug 2026, the day of Re McDonald's cremation at 10:30 a.m., a Buddhist chanting ceremony and almsgiving were held.
There was also a fire-front ordination ceremony for Mika Re and Mam's only son, aged 8, to dedicate merit to his father. Mam Sarinya posted photos with the simple caption “For Dad.”
Meanwhile, Maxwell Re's younger brother, also underwent the fire-front ordination to dedicate merit to his beloved elder brother with whom he grew up and worked. The touching scene drew much praise from social media users for Mika and Maxwell.
