Today (26 Aug 2026), the family of "Re McDonald" held the cremation ceremony at the crematorium of Wat Yang, a royal monastery. Prior to this, the family conducted Buddhist prayer rites from 20 to 25 Aug 2026.
At around 14:30, the ceremony to move Re McDonald's body to the crematorium took place. Mam Sarinya, his wife, carried his photo, and Una, his sister, held the incense holder. His son Mikka and his brother Maxwell were ordained in front of the fire to dedicate merit to their father and brother. Leo Phut and Ta Barbie carried the monk's robes, and Chakrit Yaemnam pushed the Naga cart around the crematorium.
During the procession, Mam was deeply grief-stricken and needed support to walk, as did Re's mother, who also required assistance.
