The passing of "Oleang Chuenyim" also known as "Somphong Kraithirangkul" a comedian who died at age 63 after months of hospital treatment for emphysema, shocked and saddened his fellow comedians and family deeply.
Today, the family held the first night of funeral chanting at Charoensuk Suwan Hall, Wat Pracharangsang, Nonthaburi Province, where many well-known comedians gathered to pay their respects, including Mum Jokmok, Bin-Tid, Yong Chuenyim, Nanong Chuenyim, Tuarer Chuenyim, Jare Chuenyim, Yern Scorpion, Lung Tu Scorpion, Gift Khokkhun, and Nong Chachacha.
The funeral chanting ceremony took place from 26 to 28 August 2026 at 6:30 PM, with the cremation ceremony scheduled for 29 August 2026.
