Alex Rendell Shares the Beginning of His Love Story, Romantic Marriage Proposal, and Becoming a Father

When Alex Rendell appeared on the Club Friday Show produced by CHANGE2561, he revealed his 'way of courting women.' Sometimes, he would use his love for animals and the environment to attract women, because women like men who care for animals. The star couple and the reason they parted ways—Alex opened up about a love many know about, a relationship lasting 3-4 years that couldn't continue. He shared the beginning of his love with Jenny, his wife, and recounted the romantic moment he proposed and his feelings upon learning he was going to be a father.

Are you a womanizer?

"I'm not a womanizer who dates many at once, but there were times I talked to several people."

They say men who love animals and the environment tend to be warm, gentle, and charming. Is that how you are, Alex?

"Sometimes I try to promote myself that way too. When I go on dates, I highlight this side of me."

Back to love again, a love many people know about.

"If I may say, it's Toey. Even now, I don't see her as an ex-girlfriend. She helped me in ways people might not know, actually saved my life in some way. I still think having her in my life is better than not."

How long were you single before meeting your wife? And how did you meet?

"About 1-2 years. I found her on Instagram; it was a photo of her in a swimming pool, so I liked many of her pictures."

Was the marriage proposal like a scene from a drama?

"I once traveled abroad with her. I saw proposals surrounded by crowds and applause and said I don’t want that. I wanted it as quiet as possible. So I proposed on a boat. When tourists paddled by, we paddled away to avoid people. Then I said, 'Let's take a selfie,' took out the ring—not in a box—and simply said, 'Marry me.'"

How did Alex feel when he learned he was going to be a father?

"When I found out I was going to have a child, my mind raced. I thought, 'I won’t buy this or that anymore.' I decided to enjoy traveling fully now because I might not get the chance for a long time. Since then, I started thinking about what’s necessary and what to cut back on to prepare for being a father. Having a child and a wife is a wonderful time. I feel it’s one of the best decisions of my life to get married."
