The passing of "Oleang Chuenyim" or "Somphong Kraitheerangoon" a comedian who died at age 63 after being hospitalized for several months with emphysema, shocked and deeply saddened fellow comedians and his family.
Today, the family held the second night of the funeral chant at Charoensuk Suwan Hall, Pracharangsang Temple, Nonthaburi Province, with many famous comedians attending to pay their respects, including Mum Jokmok, Bin Banluerit, Tai Ekapan Banluerit, Note Chuenyim, Jare Chuenyim, Krung Srivilai, Chet Chuenyim, Rung Suriya, Ae Chuenyim, Teng Terdterng, and Yong Luk Yee.
The funeral chant will continue until 28 Aug 2026 GMT+7 at 18:30, with the cremation ceremony scheduled for 29 Aug 2026 GMT+7.
